Raise a Glass to Fall: Discover Local Art and Wine at Castle Hills’ Annual Art and Wine Walk

Autumn in Castle Hills is the perfect time to savor the flavors of the season, and what better way to do that than at the Annual Art & Wine Walk?

Mark your calendars for Thursday, October 3, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., and head over to the Castle Hills Village Shops for an evening of art, wine, and community. This FREE event showcases the incredible talents of local artists while offering guests the opportunity to sample a variety of wines (ID required) provided by participating Village Shops retailers and restaurants.  This year, the first 200 attendees will receive a complimentary souvenir wine tumbler! Tumblers will be available starting at 4:50pm on the stage in the center of The Shops.
We’ll also be raffling off a wine-themed prize worth over $100! The Castle Hills Village Shops are located at 2560 King Arthur Blvd. at Lady of the Lake Blvd. in the heart of the Castle Hills community.

Get ready to explore the incredible lineup of artists at our Art & Wine Walk! Patrick Newmann will showcase his stunning creations from JonPatrick Studio, while Pete Hauser brings his custom woodworking masterpieces to life. Peg Harris will offer her unique hand-painted bottles. Kasie from Pretty Fancy Design will feature seasonal décor, and Hannah Amazon presents her beautiful handmade babywear. Bailey Pajela's captivating illustrations and ceramics are not to be missed, and Eilene Carver's narrative still-life paintings are exquisite. Geri Dunn will present her striking Western-themed art, while Caleb Jacks captivates with his unique blend of illustration styles, from lowbrow and pop surrealism to art deco and magic realism. Be sure to check out Ivy Art's student and teacher artworks, Kerry Carloy’s stunning photography, and Makayla Powell’s fun and creative handmade earrings! Check out Kathleen Boyer’s gorgeous wreaths from KB Wreaths and Sue Falk’s embellished birdhouses.

While you’re strolling through the shops, stop and visit the participating retailers that make the Village Shops special, including The Dallas Conservatory, Platinum Pilates, PI.E 3.14, T.B.D. Kitchen, The Grind, Creative Soul Music School, Generations Salons, Castle Hills Taekwondo America, Renée Mears Realtors, Alloy Personal Training, Estilo Concept Store, Castle Spirits, and Academy of Ivy Art.

All that wine is bound to work up an appetite, so why not stick around for dinner? The Village Shops offer a diverse array of dining options, making it the perfect spot for the Art & Wine Walk. Beyond the unique retailers, the setting is idyllic, with tree-lined paths, peaceful gardens, and charming water features. Visitors love the interactive water fountain, especially families, while shaded outdoor seating provides a relaxing place to unwind and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere. Explore art, enjoy some wine, eat, and discover what these amazing shops have to offer!
