ACHIEVERS GIRLS’ OPTIONAL GYMNASTICS TEAM COMPETES AT 4th MEET OF THE SEASON AT THE WOGA CLASSIC

Frisco, TX – Level 6-9 gymnasts from Achiever’s Gymnastics Center continued their competitive season at the WOGA Classic. This prestigious competition was held at the Ford Center in Frisco with over 3,500 athletes from all over the USA and several foreign countries participating.

1^st Place gold medals were won at this competition by Madalyn Gonzalez (level 6 Beam and All-Around), Nailah Chatman (level 7 Vault, Floor, and All-Around), and Brynlee Dark (level 7 Beam). The Achievers team now has a couple weeks before their next meet as regular season winds down.

The next competition for the Achievers gymnastics team is the Texas Tough Meet in Arlington, Texas on February 25-27.

ACHIEVERS TAAF GYMNASTICS TEAM COMPETES AT RICHARDSON GYMNASTICS

Gymnasts Achieve 56 Top 5 Placements

DENTON, TX – The Achiever TAAF gymnasts continued their competition season at the TAAF Qualifier hosted by Richardson Gymnastics in Richardson, TX. This competition was attended by more than 450 gymnasts from all over the great state of Texas with many Achievers gymnasts placing at or near the top of the competition.

Gold Medals were earned at this competition by Astrid Giron on vault and bars, Ella Klingele on beam and all around, Avery Miller on vault and bars, MaKenna Richard on floor, Brooke Garcia on beam, Emma Ewing on floor, Aubrey VanIngen on vault and all around, Hadley Allen on vault, beam, floor, and all around. And Taylor Dossett swept gold on all 4 events and all around.

The next competition for the Achievers’ TAAF /XCEL gymnastics team is the Metroplex Challenge hosted by Metroplex Gymnastics at the Fort Worth Convention Center in Fort Worth, TX on February 19-20.

ACHIEVERS BOYS’ GYMNASTICS TEAM COMPETES AT FRIENDSHIP INVITATIONAL

17, 1ST PLACE FINISHES AND 79 TOP 3 PLACEMENTS

DENTON, TX – Seventeen gymnasts from the USAG Boys team from Achievers Gymnastics Center competed at the Friendship Invitational in Dallas, Texas hosted by Eagles Wing Athletics.

This was the third meet of the season for the boy’s team. The Achievers boys showed tremendous improvement from the last several meets. Many team members had personal best scores and placements. This meet was the halfway point in the season. The boys have two meets left before they compete at their State and Regionals competitions.

ACHIEVERS GIRLS’ OPTIONAL GYMNASTICS TEAM COMPETES AT ALAMO CLASSIC

San Antonio, TX – Gymnasts from Achiever’s Gymnastics Center continued their competition season at the Alamo Classic held in San Antonio, Texas on Jan 28-30^th . This was the third competition of the regular season for the optional level gymnasts. There were over 2,300 competitors entered in this meet!

1^st Place gold medals were won at this competition by Shelbie Donaldson (level 7 Bars, Beam, and All-Around), Nailah Chatman (level 7 Vault), and Sophie Salvatori (level 9 Vault). The team now has two weeks before the next meet to continue building on the progress made and adjusting goals for the next competition.

The next competition for the Achievers gymnastics team will be the WOGA Classic held at the Star Center in Frisco, Texas on February 11/12/13.

ACHIEVERS TAAF / XCEL GYMNASTICS TEAMS COMPETES AT THE TAAF WINTER GAMES HOSTED BY IRVING GYMNASTICS

DENTON, TX – Gymnasts from Achiever’s Gymnastics Center started their competition season at the annual TAAF Winter Games hosted by Irving Gymnastics, on January14th – 16^th 2022. This competition was the first meet of the season for Achievers’ TAAF girls and was attended by over 470 gymnasts, with many of the Achievers’ girls placing near or at the top of the podium.

The TAAF Winter Games was a great start to the season for the Achiever TAAF girls, and the team is excited to work on the small details to improve for future competitions.

1^st place gold medals were received by Haley Mack on Floor, Kailey Riley on Beam, Brooke Garcia All Around, Kinsey Stephens on Floor, and Taylor Dossett on Bars and Beam.

The next competition for the Achievers TAAF girls’ team will be January 29/30 at Richardson Gymnastics in Richardson, Texas.

ACHIEVERS BOYS’ GYMNASTICS TEAM COMPETES AT THE UNITED STATES AIR FORCE ACADEMY IN COLORADO SPRINGS

DENTON, TX – Twelve gymnasts from Achievers Gymnastics competed at the Jr. Rocky Mountain Open at the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado on January 14-16th.

This was the second meet of the season for the boy’s team. The Achievers boys showed improvements from the first meet last week and displayed great teamwork and sportsmanship to all the competitors. The boys’ team will train diligently over the next two weeks to improve and continue to reach their individual and team goals before their next competition.

The next competition for the boys’ team will be the Friendship Invitational at Rogue Athletics in Dallas, Texas on January 29th.

The Optional Level 6/7/8/9 USAG girls team gymnasts from Achiever’s Gymnastics Center took part in their second meet of the season showing improvement from last weekend’s start of the season meet. The prestigious “Texas Prime” competition was held at the Irving Convention Center, hosted by Texas Dreams. Over 1400 athletes from all over the US and Mexico competed in this competition. ACHIEVERS GIRLS’ COMPULSORY GYMNASTICS TEAM COMPETES AT FRIENDS OF ACHIEVERS INVITATIONAL

DENTON, TX – Twenty-four gymnasts competed in the Friends of Achievers Invitational at the Embassy Suites Denton Convention Center hosted by Achievers Gymnastics on January 7th, 2022.

Outstanding performance were achieved by Brooklyn Granados, placing 2nd on Vault, Bars & Floor and 2nd All Around in the Level 3 Jr. A division. Baylynn Garcia, placed 2nd on Beam in the Level 3 Jr. A division. Tinsley Wood, placed 1st on Bars in the Level 3 Jr. B divison. Catherine Cox, placed 2nd on Beam in the Level 3 Jr. B division. Reese Futrell, placed 2nd on Vault, and 2nd All Around in the Level 4 Jr. A division.

ACHIEVERS GIRLS’ OPTIONAL GYMNASTICS TEAM COMPETES AT FIRST MEET OF THE SEASON AT FRIENDS OF ACHIEVERS INVITATIONAL IN DENTON

Denton, TX – Gymnasts from Achiever’s Gymnastics Center started their first competition at a competition hosted Friends of Achievers. This was the first competition of the regular season for the optional Level 6-10 gymnasts.

There were over 1,000 competitiors entered in this meet! 1^st Place gold medals were won at this competition by Claire Ewing (Level 6 Bars and All-Around), Emery Darrow (Level 6 vault), Isabella McCarty (Level 8 bars), Piper Gow (Level 9 bars), Sophie Salvatori (Level 9 bars/beam/and all-around), and Addison Willis (Level 9 floor). Achievers is proud to the start of the season and eager to compete this entire season and make improvments! ACHIEVERS BOYS’ GYMNASTICS TEAMS START THEIR COMPETITIVE
SEASON WITH A STRONG EFFORT

DENTON, TX – Seventeen gymnasts from the Achievers Boys Gymnastics team competed at the Friends of Achievers Invitational at the Embassy Suites in Denton, Texas on January 8th, and 9th.

This was the first meet of the season for the boys and was hosted by Achievers Gymnastics Center. The Achievers boys team started the season off strong with several personal best scores and big improvements from the previous year!
The Achievers boys team competes next at the Jr. Rocky Mountain Open hosted by the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado, January 14th-16th. The boys hope to improve from the first meet of the year and continue the strong start of the season!
