Grab Your Keys: It’s Car Show Season in Castle Hills!

Not one but two classic car shows are rolling into Lewisville  

 

Castle Hills is gearing up to host their much-anticipated Classic Car & Truck Show events to usher in the fall season. Locals will have two opportunities to attend. Both FREE events invite spectators of all ages to enjoy a morning of timeless automotive beauty, delicious food, and family-friendly fun. Whether you're a car enthusiast or looking for a great way to spend a Sunday, these shows are not to be missed!

The Classic Car & Truck Show is set to roll into The Realm at Castle Hills on Sunday, Sept. 15, at 4400 SH 121 in Lewisville and to Castle Hills Village Shops, 2540 King Arthur Blvd., on Sunday, Sept. 22. Each event will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

If you want to show off your classic beauty you can pay a $10 entry fee per event and be eligible to win awards and prizes in categories such as Castle Hills Pick, Best of Show Car and Best of Show Truck. Three new categories have been added this year Best of Show Engine, Best of Show Interior, and Best of Show Paint. Registration is from 8 to 10 a.m. the day of each event. The show is from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. with awards starting around 12:30 p.m. Time Machine Car Shows features the area’s finest hot rods, classic cars and trucks, several with the latest technology. Those interested in showing cars can get more information from Brittany at 940-600-9651 or Ray@TimeMachineCarShows.com.

Whether you’re at The Realm or the Village Shops, be sure to fill up and fuel up! Sophia’s Kitchen is the perfect pitstop for a sweet treat and a coffee or grab some breakfast at Hills Café, then after the show, get a burger and a beer at The Grind Burger Bar, pizza at PI.E 3.14 or some street tacos at T.B.D. Kitchen. If you’re in the mood for something more worldly, head to Z’s Wok or Kanzi for some delicious Asian cuisine.

The Realm has recently welcomed a variety of new and unique retailers, adding even more to the vibrant dining experience.  Enjoy coal-fired, brick-oven pizzas and calzones on the patio at Grimaldi’s Pizzeria, or start your day with handcrafted bagels and tasty spreads at Bagel Bar. For dessert lovers, Ked’s Artisan Ice Cream & Treats offers exotic and classic ice cream flavors, along with crepes, waffles, Boba teas, and coffee or the Netflix-featured The London Baker is always a crowd pleaser. Cocinero Mexican Restaurant serves up authentic Mexican cuisine and unique cocktails, while Marble Slab/Great American Cookies provides freshly made small-batch ice cream and cookies.

Indulge in the flavors of 206 Luster Grill’s Seattle-style teriyaki-inspired dishes and sushi or treat yourself to sweets from The London Baker, as featured on the Food Network. Explore the rich offerings at Little India, an Indian grocery store and fine dining restaurant, or try Mochinut, a delightful fusion of American doughnuts and Japanese mochi. Cool down with Bahama Buck’s, a neighborhood favorite known for over 100 shaved ice flavors, smoothies, and lemonades.

Soon, you’ll be able to enjoy Voodoo Brewery, The Monk’s, RT Bakery & Cafe, Pizza Twist, Tifa Chocolate & Gelato, Haraz Coffee House, The Dream Tacos, and Fox House Bar and Grill.
