“Bike Nights” at Adam Smith’s Texas Harley dealership in Bedford, Texas, offer live entertainment, bike washes, contests and chances to win tons of fabulous Harley goodies.  They also include, however, supporting a community of kids who are in need all summer. Texas Harley owner Adam Smith, along with Texas Harley team members and customers, recently made a $15,000 donation to Community Storehouse, based in nearby Keller. Programs offered by Community Storehouse meet basic needs for local children, such as food, clothing and school supplies, as well as provide educational support such as summer reading programs that focus on meeting specific academic needs.

“The Texas Harley family is a strong believer in meeting the educational needs of our local children,” says Texas Harley owner Adam Smith, a Keller native. “We are part of this community and we want to be a part of making it better for everyone.”

The $15,000 donation came from Texas Harley owner Adam Smith and donations made at monthly bike nights over the summer from Texas Harley team members and customers.

"The summer months are really hard at Community Storehouse,” said Megan Stiller, Community Storehouse resource development lead.  “The number of services we provide to the children in our community increases by almost 75 percent during the summer yet the donations we receive decrease as families are on vacation and become busy in the summer months.  The donation from the Texas Harley family in support of our Summer Programs means the world to children who would otherwise have gone without.  We applaud everyone at Adam Smith’s Texas Harley-Davidson for their dedication to the children in our community.  Thank you."
