September Brings A Crazy Squirrel, Classic Cars And More To Castle Hills

September in the plaza is packed with fun activities including a movie night, classic car show and an art & wine walk.  All events are free and take place in the Castle Hills Village Shops Plaza, a one-acre-plus site featuring tree-shaded walkways, gardens and numerous water features, including the very popular interactive water fountain, a permanent stage and shaded outdoor seating.  The plaza is located at 2560 King Arthur Blvd. at Lady of the Lake in the Castle Hills neighborhood. Everyone is welcome!

The Castle Hills Village Shops Plaza schedule of events for September includes:

September 5 – Movie Night: “The Nut Job” (PG) 8 p.m.: Come watch “The Nut Job,” an action-packed animated comedy about an exiled squirrel and his rat friend who plan a nut store heist in order to survive the winter. Free ice cream treats while supplies last. The movie will be shown on a 25-foot-wide movie screen.

September 20 – Classic Car & Truck Show, 1 p.m.-5 p.m.:  The Classic Car & Truck Show returns to Castle Hills. The event is free for spectators. Those who wish to display a car or truck pay a $10 entry fee and can be awarded as Castle Hills Pick, People’s Choice, Outstanding Club Participation and more. September 27 - Date Night: Art & Wine Walk, 4 p.m.-7 p.m.:  Bring your sweetie or some friends to the Village Shops for an Art & Wine Walk with booths featuring works by area artists. Participating merchants will offer free wine tasting at their stores. Valid ID required; must be 21 or older.
