Full Afternoon of Holiday Festivities includes Christmas Monkey and Santa Photo Ops, Baby Reindeer, 68-Foot Tree Lighting and More

The annual Holiday in the Plaza and tree lighting is returning to the Castle Hills Village Shops on Saturday, November 30, 4-7 p.m. Holiday in the Plaza is festive and FREE and takes place in the Village Shops, a neighborhood destination with several unique eateries and retail shops.  The Village Shops is located at 2560 King Arthur Blvd. at Lady of the Lake in the Castle Hills community. Gather your family and friends! Everyone is welcome at the fun-filled, family-friendly Christmas event!

Holiday in the Plaza is full of holiday activities including photo ops with Santa and the popular Christmas monkey (don’t forget your cameras)!  The fun also includes toy soldier drummer boys, a trackless Christmas train, Mrs. Claus Story Time and even live reindeer! Families can enjoy holiday performances by the Hebron High School Choir and Paragon Dance Centre. There will also be a DJ, face painter and balloon artist. Santa will light the 68-foot tree after sunset.

Come early or stay late to enjoy food and beverages from the Shops’ many unique retailers. Ramen Izakaya Akira, featuring traditional ramen, is perfect for a crisp November day. Enjoy some street tacos from T.B.D. Kitchen or a specialty pizza from PI.E 3.14 Everyday Eatery. Grab a beer at TKO Libations or The Grind Burger Bar, a hot tea at The London Baker or a pumpkin spice latte at Sophia’s Kitchen! You can also knock out some early holiday shopping at Estilo Concept Store or Design Time Art Studio.
