The Annual Castle Hills July 4th Freedom Festival Turns 21!

 FREE, fun-filled day includes bounce houses, face painters, FIREWORKS and more!


The annual Castle Hills 4th of July Freedom Festival celebrates its 21st year with a day of family-friendly activities, live music, food trucks and a stunning fireworks display! The event is FREE, takes place Thursday, July 4th at the Castle Hills Village Shops and starts at 5:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome! The Village Shops is located at 2520 King Arthur Blvd at Lady of the Lake Blvd. in the Castle Hills community. 

This year’s Freedom Festival will feature a giant inflatable obstacle course, bounce houses, face painters and a balloon artist, as well as a DJ at Lake Avalon. Concessions will be available for purchase from several Village Shops’ restaurants as well as from several popular food trucks.

The fireworks display will begin at dusk. Get there early to get the best seats. Don’t forget to bring blankets, chairs and coolers. Early in the day, residents and friends are invited to join the neighborhood parade. The parade starts at 9 a.m. at Polser Elementary School and ends at the Castle Hills Village Shops. Residents can take part by decorating their golf carts, wagons, bikes, and strollers for the parade.
