September in Castle Hills is filled with fun activities including an Art & Wine Walk (the perfect date night!) and the recurring classic car show (fun for the whole family!). All events are FREE and take place in the Castle Hills Village Shops & Plaza, a community shopping hub featuring tree-shaded walkways, gardens and numerous water features, including the very popular interactive water fountain, a permanent stage and shaded outdoor seating. The Plaza is located at 2560 King Arthur Blvd. at Lady of the Lake in the Castle Hills community. You don’t have to be a resident to enjoy these events; everyone is welcome!

Thursday, September 14, Date Night: Art & Wine Walk, 6-9pm: The Plaza will host its fourth annual Art & Wine Walk, spotlighting work from local artists and free wine tasting. Bring your date and, as you sip wines at participating shops and restaurants, enjoy local art such as paintings and ceramics as well as a strolling violinist and caricature artist, who will be on hand to capture the fun. Stop into one of the Village Shops’ restaurants before or after the event for dinner or dessert. Valid ID required; must be 21 or older for wine tasting.
Sunday, September 24, Classic Car & Truck Show, 10am-2pm: Time Machine Car Shows is back at The Plaza with its popular Classic Car & Truck Show. See classic cars, hot rods, drag racers and all sorts of decked-out rides at this fun event. The event is free for spectators and $10 for those who wish to display a vehicle. The event’s winning categories include Castle Hills Pick, ‘79 & older car and truck, ’80s & newer car and truck, People’s Choice and Outstanding Club Participation. While you’re at the Village Shops for the car show, enjoy frozen yogurt, a latte or pizza at one of the Village Shops’ restaurants.
