From home services to travel and sports to senior care, the variety of franchises now available to potential owners go far beyond fast food. In fact, there are over 3,000 franchise concepts in more than 90 different categories available today. According to the International Franchise Association*:

• 55% of all Americans want to be their own boss.
• 37% of all households are involved in small business.
• 70% of all high schools students want to start a business.
• 1 out of every 25 adults is currently starting a business.

On Wednesday, April 13, nine successful franchisors representing 12 businesses that have specifically expressed interest in heavy expansion for the Dallas/Fort Worth area are coming together for two FREE Franchise Showcases:

Presented by FranNet of Dallas/Fort Worth and sponsored by the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) and SCORE business counseling, both events will highlight a variety of industries, including retail, business to business and business to consumer. There will be no food franchises in attendance. There will also be a funding expert available to provide information on small business financing.
