On Sunday afternoon, the Lewisville Civic Chorale will perform selections from the Musical Theatre: Oratorio, Opera, Broadway and Motown. The concert will feature a special guest performance by the Huffines Middle School Treble Choir. The Civic Chorale consists of volunteer singers under the direction of Artistic Director, Lewis Worthington. The Huffines Treble Choir consists of select Middle School singers under the direction of Laura Weidel.

The Lewisville Civic Chorale is excited to be joined by the students. Both choirs have been rehearsing separately for several weeks, and it is hoped that the concert on May 21 will be the first of many collaborations to come.

This will be the final concert of the Chorale’s season. The Chorale will return in the early Fall as it prepares for its first International tour in November. This concert tour of Ireland will be entirely funded by the Chorus members.
