There’s no shortage of entertainment for the month of May in Castle Hills. Bring the family out for rock climbing, live music, movie night, and a classic car and truck show. All events are FREE and take place in the Castle Hills Village Shops Plaza, a one-acre-plus site featuring tree-shaded walkways, gardens and numerous water features, including the very popular interactive water fountain, a permanent stage and shaded outdoor seating. The plaza is located at 2560 King Arthur Blvd. at Lady of the Lake in the Castle Hills neighborhood. Everyone is welcome!

Friday, May 2, Activity Night: Rock Climbing, 6-8 p.m.: Come out to the plaza and show off your climbing skills. Enjoy scaling a state-of-the-art portable 25-foot climbing wall by The Summit Climbing Gym. Trained facilitators will help anyone from newbies to veterans climb the structure.
Friday, May 9, Live Music at the Plaza, 6-8 p.m.: Perfect for a date night, stop by the plaza to hear The Classic Swing Band. These entertainers play everything from classic American pop, to a variety of soft rock and jazz standards. Wear your dancing shoes and come listen to some great music.
Friday, May 23, Movie Night: “Monsters University”(G), 8 p.m.: Bring the little ones out to watch this Disney favorite on a 16-foot wide movie screen. Enjoy Mike & Sully from “Monsters, Inc.” during their college days – when they weren’t necessarily the best of friends. Free popcorn while supplies last! Don’t forget to bring extra chairs and blankets.
Saturday, May 31, Classic Car & Truck Show, 1-5 p.m.: Step back in time and come see your favorite old-time cars and trucks hosted by The Machine Car Show. The event is free, but if you would like to display a car or truck pay a $10 entry fee. Possible awards are: Castle Hills Pick, ’79 & older car and truck, ‘80s & newer car and truck, People’s Choice, and Outstanding Club Participation.
